Hello! I wish to make my PC's cabling look nice and white so I purchased a set of these on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TSCZSA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
However me being a dumby didn't realize that the VGA cable (which is the one I linked) was only a 8 pin and I need to power a 780ti which requires a 8pin + 6 pin. My concern is that these cables are 6 pin to 8 pin and my power supply cables already have this sort of cable. I dont know if you guys understand what Im saying but basically two pins from my power supply wont be used. So can I use two of these cables to power my 780ti or will there be problems?

It'll work fine, simply because there are still 8 wires coming out of the 6-pin connector, preventing anything from overheating. The connectors themselves are supposed to be rated to handle 300W continuous before failing, and there's no way our graphics card will require that much power from the 8-pin connection. Electronics companies, especially graphics card makers, are well aware of the 150W recommended limit on an 8-pin line.
