Purchased new computer. Need all data from old hard drive transferred to new hard drive.
How do I do this, in simple terms please.
Example: Showing old hard drive as drive F
Showing new hard drive as drive C

Thank you

You can remove the old hard drive from your current pc and install it as a second drive in your new pc.
You can then copy what you want, or use the files as is.

Regardless, you will have to reinstall your programs on the new pc.

If your situation is a new laptop where two drives can not be installed, you can use a usb adapter to temporarily be able to read your old drive.

Use Microsoft's Easy Transfer Tool

Probably the USB drive method would be the easiest unless you have a bridged usb cable.

Edit: the easiest method I use is to simply plug the old drive into my new computer and drag and drop.
