Hello,
I have to replace a motherboard on a HP Pavilion dv6-7002ax. HP part number is 682183-001 and the Product Id is B3K20PA. The laptop has an AMD quad core A10-4600 2nd gen CPU at 3.2GHz. Graphics are an ATI Radeon 7730M with 2Gb memory. You would think I could get another part from HP but no - I guess that would be too easy. I have found what might be the correct motherboard here: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/AMD-Non-Integrated-motherboard-for-HP-DV6-682183-001-laptop-motherboard-with-100-full-tested/1097506836.html
You might note that this is described as a non-integrated motherboard an I ASSUME it's referring to the graphics card. What I can't determine and what I need help with is whether the original motherboard is integrated or non-integrated. I'm afraid my knowledge doesn't extend enough to know whether the advertised motherboard is the correct one (even though it has the right part number). It maybe silly of me but I don't want to waste time or money on buying something that isn't right. Thanks for any help. Russ

Solution
It is non integrated because the gpu on the mobo is a discrete gpu. It's a confusing listing but it's common for ebay type sites. Gpu is soldered, cpu is not, which is common for most laptops.
