I just got an Alienware 14 a few days ago, brand new, and I'm noticing that between the three games I've played (Conquer Online, League of Legends, and World of Warcraft) all three have an issue where they'll freeze up for a few seconds. And I don't mean the whole picture freezes, but basically I can't do anything for those few seconds. Also League of Legends will show 'attempting to reconnect' on the screen during that time. Graphically they all otherwise run perfect. I run Windows 7, my graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GT 750M, I have 8GB of RAM and if it matters at all, I also got a new router about a month ago that otherwise works fine. It's a cheaper Netgear but I forget the exact model. I scanned for viruses and spyware, which came up clean. I ran a chkdsk which showed no problems. All of these games ran fine on my old laptop, which was also Win 7 but had an integrated graphics card and 4GB of RAM. Is there any way I can get my games to stop lagging?
Nevermind, I went to the dell website to see if they recommended anything I should update, and I noticed my wifi driver was on the list, among a couple other things. I updated those and everything appears to be working fine now.
