ok so upgraded my rig from a 7770 to 2 760s and im running to monitors, my main is connected to hdmi and my alt is dvi. and my bios and start up are on the Dvi monitor. i thought the hdmi output came before the dvi. is there a setting i can change or is it the driver. how can i make my main monitor show my bios/start up.

There is nothing you can do as far as the BIOS to make the HDMI primary. That is set by the card so the OS has nothing to do with it. Short of switching which cable goes to which monitor.
