My rig:
Motherboard- M5A97 LE R2.0
CPU- fx-8320
GPU- gtx 770 4gb with acx cooling
RAM- 8gb of Vengence RAM
PSU- CX600 by Corsair
Case- NZXT Switch 810
HDD- .5 tb (I think by Sandisk)

Solution
8320 will provide 100% boost IF it were the bottleneck, but that's theoretical. You will see a substantial upgrade with an 8320 and I recommend it. And enable v-sync and play on ultra. These cards are meant to run at 100% for years, and stress doesn't affect it. It's the temperature of the card, to high and it will throttle and possibly and unsupported information states high temperatures degrade the GPU. HOWEVER nVidia can run at 95*C I think, or 104 or something. I forgot.

As for BF4, depends. I like BF-I had every single one...I hate BF4 as of right now. It can be a good game, but it is -excuse the language, FUCKED up. To the point where I plaay maybe 15min a day and get tired of it.
Just watch this and he will explain it, I only...

are you asking this question to determine whether you should buy bf4 or have you just never tryed to max out settings? you can never know for sure whether you will have good experiences with fps, but you seem to have plenty of power to crank everything up. as for the purchase question i can say without a doubt that yes, you should buy bf4.

I am upgrading from a fx 4100. I wanted to know how much of an upgrade the fx 8320 will provide to my rig

Your PC will run it, but keep in mind the visual difference between high and ultra is almost unnoticeable to the eye. I would save your GPU the stress and just run on high for a stable 70FPS.

Just watch this and he will explain it, I only use it for reference in performance with gPU and CPU as it has a nice deal of cPU usage and GPU requirements.
