Hi, I have an msi z77a-gd65 motherboard and I have owned it for about 2 years now. Unfortunately couple days ago the computer booted up with a black screen with a underdash on the top left and a error code saying b2 on the bottom right. The motherboard itself had a code which showed b2, a code that never happened to me before so I do not know what it is. I've tried reading on the forums that the pins on the cpu or the gpu might be wrong so I decided to take out the gpu and plug my monitor on the motherboard integrated graphics and what happened next was that I had a black screen but the computer was running. Now I opened up the cpu to see if there was any bent pins but there wasn't so I put everything back in, repasted thermal compound on the cpu and tried to turn it back on but now when it turns on after one second the computer turns off and on again repeatedly untill I turn off the psu to the off switch. Now I'm stuck without a computer and I am typing this from someones laptop. Do I have to get a new motherboard or is there any other solutions? Thank you guys.
p.s. This happened after an Earthquake happened in the middle of the night, do you think the electric currents fried my motherboard?
