is there something wrong with my graphics card

I have a HP Pavilion elite m9280f desktop PC and if yoyr asking what's the name of the graphics card I can't find it it has a HDMI port and no RGB but a RGB adapter port and I have a RGB adapter.my problem is I have no signal to my monitor and I've tried taking the ram and putting back in and that didn't work so please help me!!!!! :(

Looks like you have a 8800 gt as gpu, with 2 dvi ports and a s-video port, did you check with another monitor and the signal was fine and then it didnĀ“t work or what?

I'm sorry I'm doing this on my phone and I can't find the reply button thats not the solution yes I did hook it up no a to different monitor it did not work

Not even connecting directly to dvi port? try to reinsert the card again.

That didn't work Its not that I think its the motherboard I went to the website of my pc and that didn't look like the graphics card I have

Can you try with another card then? that way we can exclude a motherboard problem.
