Actual Shader Performance ?? 280x vs 770

Solution
Shader performance is not something that is easy to actually peg because if you look at game benchmarks, the R9 280X actually performs at the same level as the GTX 770.

It may also be due to lower IPC or lower performance per shader overall much like how a i3 from Intel can keep up with a FX 4000 even though a i3 is dual core with SMT and a FX 4000 is 2 module, 4 core CPU.

But it is all down to the arch and how the arch performs.

Overall though the 280X is not worth the cost due to the litecoiners making it cost more than it is supposed to be.

Solution
They're trying to make up their own system of how to compare them and put them on a more equal scale. But it just won't work, it's oranges and apples. There is only one sure way to compare gpus for gaming and that is real life game performance.
