So this processor is getting old and I was hoping to squeeze just a little more out of it before I get a new one.

[strike]At first I was sure that this processor is not overclockable since It is not the unlocked, Black Edition.
Then, after spending some time on these forums, I've learned that a locked version doesn't necessarily mean that the processor can't be overclocked.[/strike]

So I've decided to settle the record straight once and for all and ask the community>[/strike]
[strike]Is the AMD Phenom II X4 965 overclockable?[/strike]
If it is, has someone had actual experience with this processor and what kind of settings would you recommend in the overclocking?

I might have been misinformed by the salesman who might not have had the proper knowledge then. Only reason I still believed it because it doesnt say BE in any software like CPUZ and such. And now if I google locked 965, there realy seems to be only a BE version.

Well then, Any advice on the BE processor overclocking settings?

My MOBO: ASRock M3A770DE
Not sure if this one does

What would you recommend me to go for with my build?
Radeon 7870
Phenom X4 965 BE
ASRock m3a770DE MOBO
4GB Ram
CPU Cooling: Not stock, but I don't remember how it is called.
Power: OCZ600MXSP, 600W
