Hello Everyone, first time posting. Heres my issue.

I recently built a computer in december and I never really had any issues with it for the first few weeks but recently its been locking up a lot. To give more detail its not a BSOD or a game lockup its a full on hardlock that requires me to manually shut down the system. It started with a couple times a week and now its multiple times a day. Its not consistent with its time, sometimes I can play a game for 6 hours before it locks up or it only takes 30 minutes. Each time it happens I check my event logs to see if there are any critical errors or warnings that occur near the lock up but theres absolutely nothing except the fact I restarted it improperly.

Before you mention temp I got nothing overheating. CPU is staying cool at around 25c and GPU stays at about 28-32c. I've ran multiple stess tests on the CPU and have not been able to recreate the problem. I have also ran memory tests and there seems to be nothing wrong with it, my settings in my bios match my hardware specs are far as memory speed. I am not overclocking any of my components and have not really been doing any extremely demanding gaming. I have restored my OS, updated my BIOS already with no luck, updated all of my drivers to the most recent listed on the manufacturers website and nothing changes. I have gone through and verified all components seated properly and they are most certainly compatible with each other.

This whole issue seems like its a driver problem or a memory probably mostly because of the lack of BSOD and the whole hardlock. Below are the specs of my computer.

CPU: AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz
GPU: MSI ATI R9 270X
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866
HDD: 2TB Seagate
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit(and dont say "oh theres your problem youre using windows 8")

Any help would be amazing I am lost. I dont know what would be causing this.

UPDATE 07 FEB 2014: So I took a chance and RMA'd my memory and when I got replacement ram back it made no change. Still having issues. This tells me it could possibly be a driver that Im just not seeing or some setting that I've missed. Im really not sure where to go from here I really could use any help because i've run out of ideas.
