WD Care Express / Extended Warranty

I am looking to buy a 3TB Red HDD for my PC. Amazon UK is showing three options for purchase:
1. Std
2. With Extended warranty
3. With Express warranty

Are these warranties any good and has anyone bought it and used it?? Both the extended and express warranty increases the warranty by 1 yr extra.

What should i buy??

All WD drives have a standard one year manufacturer's warranty anyway. Like most products, the extended warranties offered are just a way for the vendors to make some extra income at the buyer's expense.

I never, ever buy extended warranties with anything. My advice is to just buy the drive without one, but it's your choice.

Thanks, but these are Red NAS drives which come with a 3 Yr Std warranty. Also extended adds a +1 yr to the total and express gives you express delivery on top of that.
