I restarted my computer and updated my graphics card via website I didn't have a cd drive so I had to install my ethernet driver with a flash drive and then DL the drivers for my gtx 660. My question is there a way to download my cd's for my MOBO and gpu, so I can have all the programs/drivers and update my bios/gpu?

I might try again and restart my computer with my hdmi plugged into 1 monitor. I think I did try that already, but not 100% sure. I'll try again.

I downloaded those two tools from evga, the evga oc scanner and evga precision. Anyone have any tips or experience in using those? Maybe I can get a good boost from using either of those two programs?

Is there a place to download those cd .iso's somewhere? I have a asus m5197 le r2.0 and a gtx 660 FTW edition by evga.

Thanks again for any opinions/help!

Go to the Asus site to download any apps that come with the install cd (also so you can download the bios update which may fix your display problem). Go to NVidia website for NVidia control center and such (if you have a 3D monitor you can get that stuff there as well).

Failing doing those steps you can contact Asus and EVGA and explain the situation (no CD/DVD drive) and ask them to provide .iso of the install disks.

Failing that you can pickup a good, brand name and brand spankin' new CD/DVD drive for 20$ or less. If you are really "against having a CD/DVD drive" you can take it back out after you use the install cd's (and then you have it around for the next time you want everything off an install cd for something else you buy)

I'm a cheap ass who just build a PC and my old cd drive stopped working and doesn't have sata so yeah! I might be against buying one for a while since I need a headset and some pc fans >_<

I should go to a friends and make a ISO out the cd's and keep them for future references.

I didn't get a chance to try the HDMI re-try, will come back later and let ya know the details. A couple of people told me not to update the bios if everything is fine soooo....
