How do I know which graphics cards are compatible with my computer?

It mainly depends on what power supply your machine has, looking at those specs it would appear they are provided with either a 300w or a 500w. What graphics card and processor do you have in your machine?

I would open your case (so long as it doesn't void any warrenties) and have a look at the power supply and see what it is marked up as. Basically that card is weak. Your machine will support any card on the market really, but you need the power supply with the power to run it and the correct connectors so you need to confirm this before you spend any money.

I want to get a graphics card that can handle games on ultra with no lag. This power supply is not the best, so which combo of power supply and graphics card should I get.

Well it does depend a little on your budget of course. I would suggest going for approx 550w power supply minimum. The XFX unit is a really good price and is well reviewed. This should allow you to buy almost any card on the market. My personal opinion is bang for buck the Geforce GTX 760 is a brilliant card at the moment. It will play anything, you might need to tweak settings a little on some top end games but it will still run 1080p grahpics with most stuff on ultra.

As I say depends on your budget...
