Hi experts,
my current rig Specs
-->Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
Yorkfield 45nm Technology
-->2.0GB Single-Channel DDR2 @ 400MHz (6-6-6-18) (though memory stick is 800mhz)
-->Intel Corporation DG41RQ (J2E1)
-->78GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD080HJ (IDE)
-->488GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKX-001CA0 (IDE)
-->PSU 450W
now since of my budget is limited, i am planning to upgrade to these parts
corsair PSU-->650VS (650W)
memory --> 4GB ddr2 800mhz
GPU--> sapphire HD7850 (2GB)
monitor--> DELL s2240l (1920X1080)
OS--> windows 7 64 bit
now the questions
will these spec hold back 7850 graphics card or bottleneck it?
even if HD7850 works, would it be able to run all games smoothly (i.e. NO crashes)?
http://ark.intel.com/products/39683/Intel-Desktop-Board-DG41RQ this link says my mobo has PCIe x16 Gen 2.x , is this true?
and finally am i better of with HD7770? ( and same questions for HD770)
and FYI i am actually a console gamer, now moving to PC platform and my budget only allows upgrading to above specs. and i would be buying my first GPU card
regards,
nitin
