Hi I´m going to buy the fx 8350 because all the pc games started to optimize their games for multiple core gaming, I want to overclock this processor to 5.0Ghz, What cooler can I use? Can you give me a link with an overclocking guide? I have a power supply 850w +80 bronce, and my motherboard is an Asus Crosshire V Formula.

More about : overclock amd 8350 0ghz

You would need a serious custom watercooling loop to achieve 5GHz.

I would recommend asking SR71 Blackbird. He got his to 5.2. But yes, you will need some serious liquid cooling, a several hundred dollar setup.

I had 2x 360mm rads on my 8350 and I could only hit 4.8 ghz without major temp issues after a few hours. Maybe my chip just didn't like me.

That is the most likely reason. Chips have personal preference. Yours probably just never had its coffee. ;)  Try pouring some on it!

Im currently running stable at 5.0ghz on my FX-8350 and i use a custom watercooling loop. My temps are around 20C idle and 40C full load. I would suggest you build a custom loop with a large radiator and high grade pump in order to keep temps down. I tried this clock on another one of my systems running an h100i and it hit 85C and higher running full load which is unacceptable.
I have my multiplier set to 25X and my voltage set to 1.5V to achieve a stable 5.0ghz under full load.
Good luck!

Cooled by a PH-TC14PE.

Temps in the high 50's.

It's a lottery , depends on how great of a CPU you receive.
