Hello!

I had a Corsair 2x2gb modules on Asus Sabertooth x79 and added another 2x2gb modules. Now in Bios and from HWinfo64 it seems like these two pairs running with different speed.

Module Part Number: CM3X2G1600C9DHX - 533.3 mhz (PC3-8500) in rows 0 and 8

and:

Module Part Number: CMP4GX3M2A1600C8 - 800mhz (PC3-12800) in rows 4 and 12

Is there any way or tricks to make them run at the same, 800mhz speed?
I mean to bring both pairs to 1600mhz.

Thank you, Stan

Solution
Looking good, you're running 1600, as I guessed and at even better timings with the 9-9-9-24 and 1T is great was sort of expecting 2T - so you are good to go - have fun ! ;)

Yes, XMP is enabled, and I tried CPU-Z and reset, but still no luck.

Should I make both pair run at 1066mhz or it's fine now, with two different speeds?

it actually will downclock to the lower speed so just leave it.

I installed memory modules according Asus Sabertooth X79 manual - A1 - B1 - C1 - D1, to run them in quadro.

not today, b/c I need to go. But it's regular board and ther is a picture:

I put memory (from the left to right) in A1 - B1 - D1 - C1 slots, and in A1 and C1 - 1033mhz, and B1 and D1 - 1600mhz, if I remeber correctrly.

But manual to 1066 says it should easily run at 1600mhz, so what could be a problem?

It sounds like you are looking at the SPD tab of CPU-Z - look in the memory tab - that will show what they are running at in the Frequency Window - if set correctly all should be at 800, which is the true freq as all of these at 1600 sticks - it's DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so you take the true freq times 2 (800 x 2 = 1600 effctive).....it will also show the timings the DRAM is running at (hopefully like 9-9-9-27 or so) - check that and let us know what it shows - all the above talking the sticks are 'running' at different freqs is simply wrong - the DRAM all runs at the same freq
