voodoo 3 2000 not working in glide mode on unreal

Hi im have this problem where voodoo 3 2000 is not working on glide on unreal it says critical error gernal protection fault. My drivers are updated and im running windows 95

Some games dont work and some doesn't have the same type of graphics as the voodoo 3dfx thats why people still have old pc's

They are now repackaging almost every old games to play on new hardware. Look you can get Unreal Gold for only 10$ on Steam:

It seems so specialist that I'm sure there are 'old pc' enthusiast groups out there that you could join to get a useful answer. But leave this one here in the meantime just in case.

Or try to install Windows 98 SE instead and install drivers and see if the error is still there.

I can well remember how twitchy those systems were, being a PC gamer was like trying to juggle bottles of Nitro at times so I'll ask the obvious question...Are you using Archived drivers or something that has been modified. If at all possible you should at least try to find a driver CD and install off that rather than trust software off the 'net.
And yes, Win 98 is probably a better option for classic gaming, it's not quite as unstable as Win 95 for that use.
And for you youngsters, Unreal was the Crysis3 of its time with stunning 32 bit colour real time lighting, reflections, proper water...I've just realised I still have a copy tucked away somewhere...And it should run under DirectX with 3DFX hardware although it does look better and run more smoothly with Glide just don't go anywhere near the openGL rendering options.
