Hello good people,

So I have just purchased 2 x 24" Toshiba LED TV's to set up as dual display.
My plan is to have one as my main display plugged in through the HDMI socket on my GPU and then have a second display come out of my DVI socket (through an adapter into the VGA socket on the TV). (I plan to have my XBOX plugged in to the HD on the 2nd monitor)

I have an MSI Radeon 7970 3GB GPU and an AMD FX8350 8 core CPU

I have the displays working nicely but I cannot get any sound to come out of my main HD display.
I have set it as default and updated all drivers but still no luck. When I play any music I get an error that says:
'Make sure headphones or speakers are connected and that your computer's sound card is enabled. If you're using an HDMI cable for audio and video, make sure your TV is on.'

I can get sound from headphones too and yes, I have my TV on ;)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated ;)

Try right clicking on the speaker icon in the icon tray and choose playback devices and make sure your Graphics card audio is selected.

Also make sure sure the monitor volume is actually up. It may be on default 0 (silent/mute) cos most people use headphones or desk top speakers which I would strongly suggest when you have the money.

I have selected the only TV/HDMI option I have but even the test function does not work, I get a box pop up saying 'Failed to play test tone'.
I would rather use the tv's built in speakers (money isn't an issue), I even have an old set of surround sound speakers I could use but it would take up more space.
All volumes are up (first thing I checked lol)

Thanks for the quick reply though buddy ;)
