So I wonder, in the market I'm going to purcharse the laptop, it says in storage "1TB HDD + 16GB SSD"... I have never had a SSD, but I think it is way faster than HDD. However, it is only 16GB...

-Does something come installed in the SSD with the laptop?

-The default OS, W8, comes in the HDD or SSD?

-What should I save in the SSD?

Solution
The 16GB mSATA SSD is used for caching to improve overall system performance - this includes lesser time to boot the OS, faster reading/writing files to the hard drive, etc., (Intel Smart Response Technology).

Nothing will come installed on the SSD, nor you'll be able to modify its contents.
