Hello,
I recently installed HWMonitor and whilst I was looking through the temps I noticed one of my GPU's were at 101 degrees Celsius. This has never occurred before and I found this was the reason to why my CPU turned off while I was gaming today. Does anyone know how I could turn the temperature down? Should I underclock it or increase the fan speed?

Solution
I can only find products with 2 fans on them, so thats what I'm guessing you have.
Lets start at the beginning;
Check windows task manager processes to see if there is anything using up tons of usage in your computer.
Check your drivers for your GPU.
What is your ambient room temperature? Whatever it is, thats whats being pumped into your computer.
Check your case airflow, see if there is anyway your GPU is sucking in hot air.
Also check your MOBO bios version to the newest one.

This may also be a defect in the card, check your GPU software and see what percentage your fan is running on. Also enable auto scaling for the fan so as it gets hotter, the fan speeds up.

Whoops, MSI GTX 770, it's not the gaming nor lightning edition but it's a black bulky one.
