Hello,
I have a windows 8 DVD laying around i never got around to installing, and now i am going to use it.
My question is this, if i install windows 8, can i update 8 to 8.1?
Comparable to a service pack in (what i am used to) windows 7?

Yes, and it will show up in the Windows Store once Windows has updated all of the updates necessary to update to Windows 8.1. It will be free
