ATX connector doesn't fix properly into mobo (Chipset dislodged = this one not a problem anymore) (ASRock Z87 Extreme 4)

So I'm building my first PC and just bought ASRock Z87 Extreme 4 from NewEgg and other stuff are not here yet. When I opened the mobo box, I noticed the chipset was somewhat dislodged. There are 2 screws keeping it intact to the motherboard and only one is attached to the mobo and chipset. I had to lift up the chipset a bit and place it on the second screw to sort of fix it.

Now I'm really new to this building PC and I'm really worried that it might be broken or anything since the other stuff won't arrived till Friday (24 Jan), there's no way for me to test it. Is something broken? Or do I have to wait for the other stuff to arrive to check it?

Motherboards are pretty tough. You can have a 1lb video card hanging off of it for years without it breaking. I wouldn't worry too...

Finally got all my parts and started building it. Booted without any problem so I guess it's not an issue. Thanks for the tips, I will do that in the future.

My only problem with the mobo right now is the ATX connector from my Corsair CX750M doesn't 'fit' properly into the mobo. I can get it to boot just fine but I'm not satisfied not getting the 'click' sound when you insert the connector into the mobo. I'm worried to put more force because I don't want to break the mobo.

Is it okay to leave it like that since I can use my PC without any problem or I'm just paranoid about the mobo might break?
