Has the AMD FX 6300 thermal paste on it

The 6300 comes with a stock cooler, and that has thermal paste pre-applied to it. The CPU does not have thermal paste pre-applied. If you're buying an after market cooler, they usually come with thermal paste that you have to apply yourself.

Stock cooler is just about good enough to keep it cool, most people who know about these cpu's, switch to a 3rd party cooling. A good, inexpensive one is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO that is more than enough to keep the chip cool and allow for a little overclocking.
