When asking for help, please try and give as much info as possible:

- computer specs
- OS
- age
- any upgrades
- any changes to the machine since this started happening
- what you have already tried

You'll find your issues will be resolved quicker if you get into the habit of giving more info from the start.

Your not giving a lot to go on.

Put the Windows disk in dvd drive and choose repair or restore if given a chance?

Remove the power from PC, open the side panel and unplug the DVD-ROM drive. Both cords, SATA data and power cords. Plug it back in and Restart the computer.

I meant boot it with no dvd drive plugged in. I think your computer is attempting to boot from a device that is causing an error.

This kind of problem is one of the hardest to diagnose because it can be either software or hardware related and that's a lot to go through.

You don't have the Windows DVD?

Go in to your BIOS and look at your boot order. Make sure you are set to boot from DVD first.
If you can't do that, some times as your computer starts to boot it will say something like:
"Press F12 for boot menu"
Press F12 or whatever it says to access the boot menu. The select your DVD drive. As windows starts to boot off the DVD, it will say "Press any key to boot from DVD" Press the space bar and continue to boot. The select the repair option and try to do a system restore.
