Upgrading from i3-2370M to i5-3210M or i3-3110M?

My laptop is a NP300E5C-A07US, and I want to upgrade to a better processor. The socket is a rPGA988B / G2. I am not sure whether I can upgrade to a smaller nanometer processor.

The details of the processors are here:

Solution
the socket is the same but the 3 series cpu-s weren't around when the 2xxx series launched. so same as with desktop boards, most of the time they need(ed) a bios upgrade for them to support the ivy bridge cpu-s.

for desktop motherboards, most of the time such a bios upgrade was made by the manufacturers BUT for laptops, most of the time they don't bother to make one available... also because they don't want you tinkering with the laptop. which reminds me, you should get it to a professional to upgrade the cpu, laptops are trickier to assemble/disassemble compared to desktops, also they really need proper paste installation and are heating much more in case anything is wrong.

so i would say the answer is a reserved yes - maybe
