Which is more important, graphics card or Moniter

i dont know which would be better for my graphics, getting a good monitor and an alright GPU or a good GPU and a alright monitor

Looks like you didn't do your homework before posting. We don't even know what hardware and specs you currently have. What is the purpose of your computer? Is it for gaming? Just to watch movie? Edit pictures? Graphics is a vague term you know...

What's the primary use of the system?

Graphics production requirements are different than gaming requirements.

So you already got a GTX-780? What's your current monitor then?

I'm not sure I understand your original question, do you already have the parts and the PC running? Or are you looking to build a new PC?
