Lga 1150's longevity?

So I have an i7 4770 now and in 2 years would like to upgrade to a high end gpu, will my i7 be able to handle the upgrade?

Intel is said to be retaining LGA 1150 with Broadwell, but rumors says that a new motherboard will be required due chipset compatibility (in order to use a Broadwell chip, a Series 9 chipset is said to be required).

Be warned that all this is merely speculation.

You want new GPU (graphics card) ? or update your cpu in 2 years (processor)

CPU = nobody know's but 99% yes, they won't just put down the socket for a 400$ CPU lol

The cire i7-4770 will not bottleneck a 2016 graphics card.
