Do games that I bought the CD for use the internet?

Hello.

I just bought my first pc game and I was wondering if it uses the internet? Because I have an internet usage limit(If I said that right) and I don't want it using up the internet :L

some will, but that should be specified in the game requirements. what's the game?

p.s. most games do not transfer large amounts of data while you play. some will update themselves when you start them and that can take a bit of bandwidth.

it will need an internet connection for the initial activation and after that if you want to play the multiplayer. it's possible also that it will install some updates on the first run.
