Can I trust crucial memory?

I have been looking for good ram for my macbook pro 15 mid 2012 model and I found some really killer prices on crucial. Can I trust this? Also, is there anywhere where I can find cheaper. And what's all this hype about heat sync on the ram? Will I need it? Macbook pros don't have the best of ventilation. And finally, if I do need the ram with a heat sync, do crucial offer that kind of ram?

Crucial makes quality RAM, and there are some benefits of heatsinks, but most are for looks

If it is the same price or a bit more go for it, but really I'd go for 1600MHz RAM over 1333MHz if the price is right

Heatsinks are purely decorative and do not improve performance or indicate higher quality, but they're harmless unless too large to fit between the sockets and CPU heatsink.

Crucial is the only remaining retail brand of memory sticks from an chip manufacturer, and now that Samsung no longer marketing sticks, Crucial is the highest quality brand available.
