Will PWN fans work on my motherboard ?

I'v got a Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard and I'm thinking about buying the Noctua NF-F12PWN fan , i want to know if this fan will work on my motherboard as my motherboard says it supports 3 x 4pin case fans and I don't know if the fan is compatible.

Yes, those case fans have 4 pins each, and your motherboard has Three 4-pin plugs on it.

Im using it as an exhaust fan in my Antec VSk-4000E case then im going to get a blue led intake fan at the front , Thanks for the answer

**REM** your PWM may work perfectly ... by not spinning. Depends I believe on the temp settings. I've an ice-cold MSI_Z77a-gd55 mobo that WILL NOT spin my Noctura in a systems port.

You can usually test that by going into the bios (assuming you have a decent motherboard) and forcing it to spin at 100% or whatever.

Go round-and-round ... blowing or sucking air like a fan is supposed to. Like the non-sys fan next to it in the case sucks & blows ...
