Hi.

I have a Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 from my old Acer Aspire 5930g.

My laptop is dead but the cpu is still ok.
I would like to use it in a mini iTX motherboard but i have no idea which one will be compatible.

My processor is a Core 2 Duo P8400 and i have found out that it must be used with a Socket P of 479 pins:

- Socket P / Micro Flip-Chip Pin Grid Array (Micro-FCPGA) with 479 pins (ZIF)

- Socket mPGA479M or Micro Flip-Chip Ball Grid Array (Micro-FCBGA) (479 pins)

I have no idea where and how to find a compatible desktop motherboard.

Any help from you guys will be wonderful.

Thanks.

Max.

with old laptop cpu there not made for desktop slots. your better off buying a cheap cpu and mb combo.
