I am a pretty big graphics card newbie and I have absolutely no idea which graphics card i should get. I don't know if certain graphics card would work with a certain computer or another or the whole Radeon 6670, 7750, etc i have no idea what those numbers mean I just assume if there higher the specs on them are better. Also the people that make the Radeons (AMD Radeon, XFX Radeon, Diamond Radeon stuff like that) I don't know what the difference is between them. It seems like from the card im choosing from have a 1gb version and a 2gb version, also have no idea what the difference between those. Theres also fanless and a one with a fan, don't get that either. The one without the fan might overheat no sure. Lastly i hear some motherboards can run certain cards, my specs will be listed below. Could someone please elaborate on these for me so i can understand better. I don't want something horrible happening to my computer because i chose the wrong graphics card. Also recommend a card form me if one looks better.

But anyways the card I want is as follows.
http://www.amazon.com/XFX-HD-677X-ZNFC-Radeon-6770-Graphic/dp/B007PZ4FO0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1390257614&sr=8-3&keywords=XFX+Radeon+HD+6770

or

http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-6770-Graphics-HD677XZNFC/dp/B005C31FJU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1390257728&sr=8-1&keywords=Radeon+HD+6770

Again, can't tell the difference even though they look different they seem to be the same card. If these cards dont look good for my pc please recommend another.

My specs are

16 GB ram
AMD FX 6100 Six Core Processor (Which i assume is pretty good)
ATI 3000 Graphics Card (Dear god its horrible)
Motherboard: MSI 7596 (I don't know about this)

So will me specs work with this card? Would another work better? Keep in mind this a pc for gaming so I need one that should work best for games. My budget is around $110. Im still very confused on this topic. On a side note I know how to install a graphics card and I am very familiar with computers.

I would have to take my pc apart to find out the power supply.

Just take a side panel out and at most you need to loosen the psu screws and look at it, no need to dismantle the disconnections. This is necessary though as some computers come stock with too small of a psu to power anything substantial.

Well basically they are both same card but with different cooler, color, pcb, etc. but the core is still an AMD and same.

Without cooler models are mostly entry level graphics card which are not so powerful, therefore not heating up so they dont really need an active cooling system, passive is enough. But this is a generalization, there may be some exceptions.

About vram, 1gb, 2gb is the least important part of a gpu, do not really think about it (yet)

And yes, some motherboards cannot use some cards, but again generally speaking, every modern motherboards can use every modern gpus, unless one of them is 8+ years old.

I just checked and i have a 350 watt power supply, I cant find the power usage on the 260x so can somebody tell me if i can run this card with my specs? On a side note I heard the HD 7790 is better and for the same price, is that true?

Well i really and strongly suggest you to upgrade your psu, for my calculations (your cpu, 2 hdds, 1 dvd writer, 4 usbs, 5 total fans (2x80, 2x120, 1x200mm) you need at least 370 watt for hd7790 and 382 watt for 260x

You can get my psu (corsair vs 650) for about 50-80 dollars top, i dont know any cheaper quality psus, sorry.

For about hd7790 vs 260x i cant really answer you, all i can do is copying some benchmarks :(

This is a comparison on paper (not real-world performance) http://www.hwcompare.com/15489/radeon-hd-7790-vs-radeon-r7-260x/

And if this is correct the difference is %10 only, and since i dont really see myself as amd expert i would say look at the price difference and decide with that info

I have 1 HDD and only 2 fans, my chances of not having to buy a new psu looking any better?
