MSI on board audio?

I'm wondering if the onboard audio on the MSI Z87 GD-65 Gaming motherboard is any good? I have some Logitech Speakers. I don't know the model number but I played about $200 for them. Should I get a sound card to take full advantage of these speakers or is the onboard audio on this MSI board good enough?

Onboard audio does it for 99% of people really.

Even if you do get a soundcard:

- You can't always hear the difference

- You probably don't have the gear that justifies a soundcard

What about with a high end sound card like the Asus xonar essence?

Same deal really.

Perhaps you can try things out and if you feel the speaker sound is lacking in some way, then

you can start to consider a soundcard. It even happens that people who specialize in sound can't

hear much of a difference with soundcards added.
