Hey, I'm building my first ever pc and I just wanted to know a few things
1) Do I need a separate CPU fan if i'm overclocking?
2) If so is this fan compatible with my processor: CPU- AMDFX 8320 Black Edition 3.5GHz AM3+
Heat Sink- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Thank you so much!!

Both are compatible. Not sure what you mean about a separate CPU fan, the heatsink attaches to your CPU (well, your motherboard really), and that comes with a fan. Or do you mean do you really need the Hyper 212 Evo to overclock? Because you kinda do. It will work just fine for overclocking.

One of the best and most common cpu coolers you have there, it'll fit without any problems and cool your FX8320 fine. :p

Why not go with the corsair h80, its sleek and nibble and supports any form factor. i have the corsair h100i and will never choose a heatsinc ever again. but thats me.

So currently what case do you have. once you finalise that, and clear it out the the door focusing on the parts much easier.

Has thermalpaste pre applied on the copper heat sync.
