Asus M5A97 with 8320

I am planning on getting an 8320 soon to replace my 4100, and I'm just making sure that my Asus M5A97 would support it, it has a max TDP of 140, and I have the latest version of the bios, but it's an older board (it is not the R2 or the Evo), and I don't feel like risking it. I will be overclocking, but it overclocks just fine. It's a great board, and I already have it, so I'd rather not spend $100 for a new one.

yes your able to overclock. your motherboard is rated for cpu's at 140watt this is more than enough for the fx 8320 :)

on cpu's overclocking doesn't add that much watts, and on graphics cards it's the opposite :p

Good luck overclocking that champion
