Parts:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2EHdZ

Symptoms:
All fans and LEDs running. Optical drive and hard drive (assumed) to be running (same PSU connection). No video. Q-Code on MB is "00."

Any good troubleshooting steps or would wiping my SSD be the best way? Given, it might be a driver issue, or the sort?

Thanks!

I assume the SSD is now on a different motherboard to where it was originally, and you're trying to run Windows that was already installed on it.

No can do my friend. You have to wipe the drive and re-install Windows on it from scratch when you transfer the drive to a different system.

I can't help with the no video issue, no idea.

Thanks for the response. RAM was incompatible, ordered new RAM and installed it today, still no video. Tried booting no Storage to get it to run straight to BIOS, but no video. Would have it boot from a Windows 8.1 CD if I could get some video feed and BIOS to show up.

Still waiting on some more help. No luck so far.

For the no video issue: slightly stupid question Did you connect the display to the Motherboard Video Connector or the GFX video connector?

Did you try using a different cable/connector? (try HDMI/DVI) connectors, if both are not working, try connecting just to the MB and booting.

code 00 means the system doesnt even detect the power on reset. Possibly the motherbd is shorting to the case, defective motherbd, or improper cpu insertion causing bent pins in the socket.
