I recently upgraded my video card and was looking for a decent 120hz monitor. I've been looking at used and new monitors alike. I have no idea what technologies i should be looking for in monitors. I'm not really interested in 3d, just good color reproduction, no ghosting etc. Currently using this, paid around 150 a few years ago.

Thing is, I'm not sure if displays degrade over time but mine is starting to blur a bit. I get eye strain after 2hrs of use. The video card I'm using it with is a GTX780ti. Not looking for anything more than 1080p. My budget is around $250. Thank you.

Oh, also I hate my current screen's glossy finish.

How about $280, is that OK?

I feel your pain about the glossy finish, I got a laptop like that. This VG248QE has a matte surface.

Woah that looks lovely.. It's kind of out of budget.. but I think I might be able to do it.

Cool... The 120Hz requirement is rather tough, not many choices out there.
