Hi guys,

I'm not very good with computers but I decided to give it a shot at building my own.
I think everything is fine except for the Corsair H60 I bought to replace the stock fan.
Nothing particularly wrong but I just can't seem to get off my mind that something is wrong (Maybe because I don't trust myself with these stuff)

I paid $60 for this new liquid cooler but the temperature (in my bios setting) shows 36C when idle. When I used my stock fan, it shows 40C. Should it be lower or is this normal?

Also all the tutorial I have read said to make sure the Fan Voltage is set to 12V but I can't seem to find this in the BIOS setting. How do I ensure that the fan is running at 12V on MSI 970A-G46?

I took a screenshot of CPUID HWMonitor. I hope you guys can tell me if there's something wrong or if I did everything correctly. I can't seem to make sense of anything inside lol

Thank you so much!

Temps look good,
If you hooked your H60 up according to the directions it is just fine, not to worry about the fan voltage.
The idle temp you show (36) is good, even your air cooling temp wasn't bad; what is important to compare, if you kept a record, is the temp when the computer is running hard - such as encoding or gaming.
I'm running a dual-fan version of the H55 and it keeps my FX8120 nicely cooled no matter what I am doing.
One of the problems with CPUID, that has been discussed on this forum and that I have seen personally, is that often it isn't very accurate: Your screen shot shows your +5V at 3.1V and 12V at 14.9v. Unless you have the worst Power supply ever, this is not right. Try HWINFO64 and see if it gives you better information, or CoreTemp ( www.hwinfo.com
