AMD 8350 FX @ 4.7GHz CPU

AMD Sapphire 4GB 290x GPU (Will also OC eventually and assuming mantle will do what it sets out to do as well as a possible crossfire in the future like a year)

8GB Corsair vengeance @ 1866MHz will upgrade to 16GB as well in the future if necessary but speed will drop to 1600MHz

AM3+ Sabertooth REV 2.0

750Watt Corsair PSU (Changing the corsair to XFX PRO850W Core Edition)

Will just be gaming on a single 1920x1080 display, hoping for a sustained 60fps+
So yeah just looking for some ideas on how long this build would last like what settings I will be able to play games at and for how long as time goes on? Thanks for everyone's input really appreciate it!

It will work for a few years into the future. It's a really solid build for even current-day games. Expect 3+ more years until you have to buy a new one. :)

As in a new gpu? or would the cpu bottleneck the newer gpu tech 3+ years from now?

That GPU will still be playing at high settings or maybe medium in 3 years more than likely.

ALso DO NOT get a CX PSU from Corsair. They are not very good. Stick with their other units or change to Antec, XFX, Seasonic.

No problem, I actually lost most of my first build to a cx600.
