Hi everyone,

So im a complete noob when it comes to computers and want to use my desktop on a wireless connection now but I have no idea on what I should be using to make my desktop wireless. I know you either need a usb wireless adapter or a pci card but i have no idea what im meant to be looking for? Can someone please recommend me a good one
btw i live in Australia so I would prefer if i didn't have to buy online

my router is the TP-Link WR641G+ v1.5
My motherboard is the ASUSTeK P7P55 LX (LGA1156)
and im also running windows 7 64bit

Thanks for the help :D

Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G15W8563 is easy to plug in and you are wireless! Make sure you insert the CD that came with the wireless adapter and then update the driver from the manufacturer's site (Linksys). This is a very easy solution.

Another option is to install a wireless PCI card inside the computer. The card will look something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124342 OR like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320113

The PCI slots are different for these wireless cards. Your motherboard can accommodate either card but you must ascertain the availability of a spare slot for the card you pick.

The USB wireless is a much simpler solution.
