Hey all,

I have been wanting to install a new heat sync sometime and i have seen some tutorials on youtube and they have a back plate that goes at the back of he motherboard so it can fit in. The only thing is is that I have 4 pins that the heat sync should go into but 2 of them are coverd up by the case I have. My case is this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aerocool-Strike-X-Advance-Tower...

if anyone help me i would be very thankful as I want a nice cool CPU sometime :)

Thanks

if the cpu back of the motherboard you cant get to all of the legs of the heat sink from the cut out if yu take the other side panel off. then you have to pull the motherboard out of the case. most new cases have cut outs in the motherboard try to let you get to the back of the cpu. with some heat sinks you may have to turn them so you can get to all four of the screws or remove the fan on the heat sink.

Ok so I have to take the motherboard out in order to put the back plate on. It sounds simple enough
