Hallo, I am seeking the knowledge of the great tomshardware community, I am new to building pc and just finished my rig although upgrades are coming I have a thermaltake versa g2 case with a thermaltake 450 wtt psu and biostar g41d3+ mobo with e8600 c2d cpu, I cant decide a gtx 650 cheaper and needs less power with higher clock or hd 7770 maybe a hd7790 but thats on border of graphics budget for me... max power req on gtx650 is 400wat and 450 w for hd7770, the specs of gtx 650 looks a bit better than hd7770 and is a r100 cheaper or 10dollars help me decide I only play skyrim and wow panderia mayb gona get assassins credd black flag. And lastly I have a nice budget for new cpu and mobo I can afford a i5 4430 and asrock crossfire mobo but since refreshed haswell is coming and the series 9 chipsets is coming will there be another price drop or will series 9 chipsets also come out as cheap as current haswell, must I wait???? Thanks people

The 7770 is allot better than the gtx 650. The 650 was meant to compete with the 7750 and the 650ti with the 7790

The 7790 is also much better than the 7770 and I think its not much more in price.

Best bang for buck would be the 7790 which I think you should go for

I have tested both of them (GTX650 and HD7770), on real gaming world, they will give you very similar performance, however the HD7770 is a little faster.
I recommend you the HD7790 If you can afford it , that would be the best budget card you can get, and is faster than GTX650ti, it can give you a very good performance at 1920 x 1200 in most games.

Stick with the haswell i5 and it should take you for a good couple of years. CPU's don't change that much, its the gpu's that will require frequent updating
