resolve error 1713 on windows 7 64bit

I tried to recover a corrupted Outlook program in my windows 7 64 bit computer , A popup from windows informed me it could not install all of the required programs due to a error 1713 problem .

Thank you for your input Phil. I did as you suggested and used the "setup" option rather than the "repair "shortcut. Outlook then installed and repaired itself . I then encountered a new problem. When I added email addresses and did the setup email protocol setup, The process seemed to work properly but the next time I tried to use the outlook program to send emails , it crashed and informed me , "A previous repair has failed and this program will now close". Dunno what to do with that one. Any ideas?
