my rig is:
Intel i5 4670k 4th Generation Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Cooler
Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet
Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor (Black)
ASRock Z87 Extreme4 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM
Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU
Asus R9 280X DC 2 TOP

they are saying that you need a recommend CPU of AMD FX 8000 series or better / Intel i7 Quad Core CPU..
Now my question is that whether my i5 will be able to max out this game at 1920x1080 res. ???

You can exclude BF4.
BF4 is badly coded compared to what is should be for a company that size.
We are talking about 2 frames improvement going from 4 threads to 8 threads.

But guys, that website is saying that you need a cpu of i7 quad core processor and here i am playing these games (able to max out every game) with my i5 processor, so you think that i will be able, not me, i mean, my rig will be able to handle that game (Thief) at MAX settings ?? :p

If the game need solid 8 threads to run at max, then the coders should be fired.
no way a i5 shouldn't be able to handle it.

ok, this is the last question:
so in simple way, you are telling me that i5 4670k is more than enough and i don't have to go through the upgrade of this i5 and i will be able to play those upcoming games at max ( with the help of r9 280 x) ??? :D

People u need to understand how system requirements for a game are listed.
Thief game says(as per OP's link) CPU: AMD FX 8000 series or better / Intel i7 Quad Core CPU recommended.
Now what does this mean?
On the i7 side CPUs like Core i7-860, -920, -930, -940, -950 exist (all quad core)
On the AMD side CPUs like FX-8120 exist
But Core i3-3250, -3245, -3240, -3225, -3220, -3210, -2100, -2105, -2120, -2125, -2130 beats the above processors

That would be odd. Simply as AMD released their new APU lines with 4 cores.

I think we all know those APUs aren't actually geared for gaming yet, regardless of what AMD say. I believe they have plans for 8 core APUs soon anyway, can't remember where I read that.
But I think Thief is one of the titles that supports the new TrueAudio tech from AMD, so they have been working closely with them which would explain why they want multithreaded support (FX is still selling very well), regardless of their APUs.

Yes your cpu can max it out.

Nice rig but add another 4gb ram so you will have 8 gb.
