Im currently running Win7 64bit, 965BE OC@3.8ghz, 8gb gskill ripjaw 1333 memory, 1tb wd black and a HD 6950 2gb vid card with a 750w hx corsair ps.

I want to build new pc for gaming. I play games like BF4, WoW, Metro, Far Cry, Bioshock.

I plan on getting a gtx780 ftw card for sure and don't need a tower or cd/dvd drives or ps. Was wondering if a i5-4670k at stock speed with 16gb 1600 memory would be faster. By what Ive read sounds kind of a pain to oc the 4670k or should I get a 3570k and oc it.

Im looking to spend around $1500.

Dude just get a i5 or better, get RAM that is 1600mhz at least 8gb with low CAS timings, and upgrade your gpu to a GTX 660 ti or above if you want real graphical performance. if you can keep your mobo awesome if not look at Asrock extreme 4 Z77 it's a great mobo. good for overclocking as well
