I've recently been playing skyrim on my macbook, I got the game through usb from a friend. It has worked fine until now when I accidently placed a mod in the data folder and launched the game and thats where the problems started, it now takes up to five minutes to load and about one minute to save, I deleted the mod but that didn't work so I restarted my computer and that didn't work either, oh and some of the titles have $ at the start of them, can anyone help me please?

So you didn't purchase the game, are surprised when the hacked copy has issues, and want us to help you get your illegally obtained copy working? I don't think that's going to happen...

My friend purchased it and copied it onto his computer, so no it is not illegally obtained.

he bought it but managed to copy it onto his computer

Right, HE bought it, not you. What makes it illegal is when you copied his purchased copy onto your computer, which is the same as copying a movie that you rent from Blockbuster so that you have it too.

hendo99, I'm afraid that the terms of the site don't allow discussion of software that was not properly purchased. Your friend has a valid copy of the software; you apparently do not.
