I put IC Diamond 7 carat Thermal Compound on my CPU. I put too much on first time. I got it correctly the second time. My laptop is cool when I have it horizontal, but when I turn it slightly to 75 or 90 degrees the copper where the CPU is hot but the Aluminum where the fan is cool. My CPU temperature went up to 90c then cut off.
