Will custom fan control of afterburner or precisionx work on two different GTX660ti Cards?

I want to purchase another 660ti to sli my current config having palit gtx 660ti jetstream. But the same card is not available right now so I have to go with different brand. My choice is Asus 660 ti DC2 version. Both are 660ti and 2GB memory so sli is possible. But in this config will precisionX fan control going to work for both or not? If anyone here using this kind of sli config then please suggest me. It will be extremely helpful for my purchase dicision. If there are other possibility or compatibility issue then pls suggest.

I have no idea about Precision X because I have never used it. But, yes, Afterburner can control 2 diffrent video cards at the same time. You just have to go into the settings to switch between the two cards. I am running an MSI 680 Lightning and an MSI 470 at the same time with Afterburner. Afterburner can also make both of your cards run at the same speeds and whotnot with just the click of a checkbox in its settings as well.
