Best way to reinstall windows on SSD?

Just boot from the installer disk, and quickly check the bios to see that the SATA mode is AHCI, then select custom install, first step delete all existing partitions and then install to the remaining unallocated space.
TY for the hand. Probably could have figured this out solo, but 2 heads are better than 1.
Your answer was perfect. I have an MSI z77 G41 and it was not easy (obvious) on how to check the ahci, but it's good to go now.
